Please see our separate section on somali consultancy. Research We support organistions by conducting various types of research that improves decision-making, planning, service reviewing, and applying for funding. Whether it is a short desk-based exercise that needs to be done in a few days or a full, stand-alone enquiry that requires expert advice and a professional report, Transparency Research will help. In the past we have conducted client needs analyses, option appraisals, baseline reviews, and large scale data analysis.
Through our diverse group of consultants and asssociates we are able to offer a wide range of expertise, contact with grass-roots organisations and access to hard-to-reach groups. Evaluation What are the achievements of your organisation and how are they being achieved? Funders, government and donors increasingly need to know that they are getting value for money. You know you can deliver, but can you prove it? By conducting an independent evaluation you are applying good practice and collecting first-class evidence necessary for you fundraising activities and decision-making. Evaluation is a tool-box for decision making, Transparency Research has the right tools, and knows the right tools for the exercise in question.
Transparency Research can conduct any type of evaluation of your projects, services, processes and systems in a way that directly meets the requirements of your funders and regulators. RESEARCH MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
We create and provide bespoke online database applications for research and management purposes. We often use systems such as these for collating fieldwork data which allows clients early sight of survey results or interview transcripts and provides the power to perform analysis directly. Such systems have proven to be extremely useful in collecting fieldwork worldwide, processing results, and keeping clients up to date with fieldwork progress. Please contact us if you would like sight of such systems or to discuss using one of our systems. TRAINING We provide a range of training to provide competency to organisations and individuals dealing with a multi-cultural, multi-faith clientele. Our courses include cross-cultural communication, backgrounds on minority ethnic groups (including new communities), and religious and cultural heritage. Training is useful for staff from all voluntary, public and private organiations who wish to successfully recruit and retain staff from minority ethnic communities or deliver services to particular communities. We also offer training specific to working with the Somali community. If you would like to discuss a particular course or have any query, please contact us to discuss.
