Refugees and Asylum Seekers have been part of the Fund's thematic criteria since the first UK grants round of 1999. Awards have been made to a variety of organisations from large national bodies to smaller local refugee organisations. The Fund is proud to have been one of the first independent grant makers to offer funding specifically for young refugees and asylum seekers. Transparency Research has been working with the Fund since 2007 in planning and delivery of the open round of funding for the Refugee and Asylum Seekers Initiative.
