2006-7 Evaluation of the Challenge Fund for Refugee Integration and the Purposeful Activities Fund for Asylum Seekers.
The Challenge Fund provided funding for organisations working to assist refugees integrate into UK society, whereas the Purposeful Activities fund provided for Asylum Seekers to be constructively engaged while awaiting a decision on their case. The evaluation took the form of visiting, evaluating, and supporting all 112 projects funded by the Home Office in this year to inform future policy decisions on refugee integration and asylum seeker projects.
