NATO	Cultural advice, information operations, briefings	Piracy is a prime concern of NATO forces operating off the Somali coast and Gulf of Aden. Transparency Research has been contracted to provide cultural advice on working with Somalis both on and off shore, in Somalia and in the disapora. Briefings and training are provided to NATO command personnel.
NATO is currently one of the forces patrolling the Somali coast.
Ministry of Defence	Cultural advice, information operations, briefings	Consulting with and briefing MoD personnel on Somali cultural and political norms; advising and producing briefing paper for EUNAVFOR operating off the coast of Somalia and Gulf of Aden on Media and Information Operations in support of anti-piracy operations and building bridges between Somalis and EU Naval Forces.
Hyde Housing	Evaluation of the Money Guidance Service	This long-term project hosted by Hyde Housing provides financial advice and assistance to tenants of five housing associations in London and surrounding areas in an effort to attack financial exclusion. The evaluation covers three years and includes a cohort study of participants and non-participants to examine their financial well-being and know how.

Multiple Solutions Kenya	Database Management System	A fully comprehensive database management system to provide real-time tracking data and status reporting for this clearing and forwarding company. Requires providing a secure SSL web-based database system to track cargo being cleared in Mombasa port and thence forwarded across East Africa to Kampala, Nairobi and other destinations, and to handle exports to Mombasa port from inland. Training and manuals provided to staff in Mombasa and ongoing system development to meet demands.

Bristol City Council	Isfahanka Bulshada Bristol - Understanding Bristol Society	This guide is intended for the Somali Community in Bristol to assist with interacting with public services and living in Bristol society. The guide covers everything from getting health care to registering a death, from mosque details to whom to contact if you suspect radicalisation, how to deal with an emergency and what is and is not legal. The guide will be published by Bristol City Council in English and Somali.
Community Cohesion Team.
Bristol Somali Forum	Consultancy	Consultancy involving facilitation, business and strategic planning and structure of this organisation. Set up with the help of Bristol East MP Kerry McCarthy to bring together Somalis across the South West and to become a voice for the community. Currently with a female chair and a membership of 19 Somali-led organisations offering various services to the community.

Bristol City Council	Preventing Violent Extremism	The scheme is funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government/Home Office. Our role is to assist the Council to learn the best ways to broaden and deepen the engagement of local people in preventing violent extremism and promoting community cohesion. This is a partnership project and the key players are: Bristol City Council, Avon and Somerset Police, Government Office South West, Fire and Rescue Services, NHS, Chidren and Young People's Services, Prisons and Probation Services, as well as a broad range of mainly Muslim-led voluntary and community sector agencies.
