Evaluation of the Challenge Fund for Refugee Integration and the Purposeful Activities Fund for Asylum Seekers 2006-7

We have recently been finalised the evaluation of these two funds for the 2006-7 year. The evaluation took the form of visiting, evaluating, and supporting all projects funded by the Home Office in this year to inform future policy decisions on refugee integration and asylum seeker projects.

Evaluation of the Voluntary Assisted Return and Reintegration Programme (VARRP)
|
Voluntary Assisted Return is the process whereby failed asylum seekers or refugees can return to their country of origin in a dignified and orderly manner. Our evaluation of this programme, run by the International Organisation of Migration with partners, involves research in Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Pakistan and the UK, interviewing up to 300 individuals and organisations.
